MNA Founder's Retreat
Restoration, connection, and self-care. Our annual Founder’s Retreat is in honor of our big legislative wins this year! Yoga, mediation, hiking, and beautiful food are just some of what’s in store for those who attend.
We are staying at a beautiful 6200 square foot home centrally located in MO, that sits on acreage with lake views, includes an in ground pool/spa, lake access, outdoor dining options and more. There will be kayaks, horse back riding and the MNA will be adding in some extra special amenities too.
This is a private event, for MNA members and partners only. We will cap guests for the Lodge at 12 people. Additional guests will have the options of tree houses, cabins, and campgrounds that are also available by our host. More details to come.

MNA Annual Membership Meeting

We also will be reviewing policy changes, the new law, and providing an MNA member training in the second half of the meeting. How to Practice in Missouri: Understanding the New Law
The Missouri General Assembly passed a law this year that updates the Dietetics Practice Act of Missouri. This change impacts how health coaches and non-licensed nutrition professionals practice safely in this state.
Join us as we review the timeline of our advocacy efforts over the last 3 years, the interpretation of the law, and steps needed to practice under the new terms that will take effect in August of 2021.

Self Defense Training | Level 1 | with Amos Reed
Please consider taking this for readiness if a situation would arise that needs a quick response.
DNA Defense is a personal defense training company that was founded by Amos Reed. He is a U.S. Army Veteran, and currently serves in the U.S. Air Force Reserve.
While on Active Duty, Amos had the privilege of becoming a Modern Army Combatives Instructor, and continues to train military personnel through his Reserve Duty. These, and other tactics have been used to formulate a system that anyone can utilize.
Amos has a heart to help and protect others and has developed the 3-LEVEL Training system of DNA Defense with the intent of making our society a better place to live and to pass a better world to our children. The philosophy is to "change our DNA" so that we become Lions in Lamb's Clothing: good people with the ability to protect ourselves and those around us.
This Level 1 Self Defense two hour training will be spent covering awareness and how to assessment techniques, as well as training on how to create space to get away, should you ever need to do so, including proper pepper spray use. After completion of course you will receive a personal pepper spray & a t-shirt.
